Tulip Tree

The tulip tree is blooming, bluebonnets cannot be far away.

I went to the Dallas Quilt Show. Lots of really lovely quilts! I cannot really pick a favorite so thought I'd share just a couple of photos of quilts that had something unique about them.

The logs are all made from the fabric selveges.

A 128 point mariners compass!  And it is it really tiny.

Lots of thread work and quilting with colorful threads.

Fans made with ties.

That tulip tree sure looks like Spring is on the way. It is beautiful! The quilt show was great fun. I love taking digital photos so I can take my time and study the quilts at home.
